W. Elrayes was born under the golden sun and raised in Egypt, where the River Nile flows like a ribbon of memory—carrying the scent of lotus, the warmth of amber, and the whispers of ancient pharaohs. The air was rich with jasmine and rose, spice-laden breezes from old souks, and the citrus winds of lush green orchards. In Cairo, as a young chemistry student, he dreamed of crafting a perfume that could speak across borders—a scent that would tell stories without words.
Egypt gave him his foundation: the mystery of its temples, the depth of its resins, and the unmistakable taste of nature’s bounty. But his heart was drawn to Italy, where the River Arno winds through Florence like a brushstroke of elegance. Along the Lungarno, he discovered Renaissance gardens, citrus groves, and timeless artistry that echoed Egypt’s grandeur. He saw in Italy not just beauty, but a mirror—two civilizations bound by history, grace, and a devotion to sensory expression.
Out of reverence for Italy’s influence, he vowed that every Omarize creation would carry its Italian translation—a perfumer’s quiet grazie to the country that shaped half his dream.
